On August 1, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited Eleveight AI's artificial intelligence factory in Gagarin, Gegharkunik region, which is the first AI factory in Armenia and the region to operate on NVIDIA Blackwell B300 technology.
Nikol Pashinyan toured the factory, got acquainted with the technical capabilities of the data center, the current stage of expansion, as well as upcoming programs. It was noted that the investment program for the first stage amounts to $150 million, of which about $70 million has already been invested. It was emphasized that the infrastructure is designed to serve large-scale artificial intelligence calculations, from training AI models to business, scientific, and engineering applications.
The capacity of the first phase of the factory is 5 MW, which is planned to be increased to 40 MW in the next phase of expansion. Just one month after the launch, the existing capacity has been fully booked, reflecting the demand from Armenia and international markets.
The visit comes just under a year after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Innovative Partnership in AI and Semiconductors between Armenia and the United States on August 8, 2025, which laid the foundation for the export of Nvidia Blackwell B300 graphics processing units. On June 1, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Eleveight AI to develop the artificial intelligence ecosystem in the Republic of Armenia, promote innovation, and build capacities.
The prospects for the development of AI infrastructure in Armenia were also discussed during the visit.
"This project is a tangible result of Armenia's strategic direction," said Arman Aleksanian, Co-Founder and CEO of Eleveight AI. "The country is becoming not only a consumer of advanced technology, but a creator and global supplier of it."
Eleveight AI is grateful for Prime Minister Pashinyan’s visit and the continued support of the Armenian Government and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia. We look forward to advancing Armenia's position in the AI sector through this strategic partnership.
